BPC 10 NW on Oracle - New user access to BPC environment WITHOUT SAP_ALL/super user privilege???

Dear All,

1. Have created a new user at BW side.

2. Have given the basic two new roles meant for BPC access

3. Added this user to one of the BPC environments using BPC web admin client.

4. Yet, when I logged in as the new user, it says... you do not have any environment. This is strange.

5. When I gave SAP_ALL privilege to the new user, it is working.

I don't think this is the right way... users don't need special privileges to access BPC environment. Pls. help to fix this. i.e. to access a BPC environment without having SAP_ALL/super user privilege.

Hi Peri,

As you mentioned in your 4th point - "Yet, when I logged in as the new user, it says... you do not have any environment. This is strange".

Its not strange, you just missed to assign the following roles/tasks to the new user:-

• Manage Environments ( if required )
• View Environments
