Hi,
I am using system logon for my BSP application. The prodiuction landscape has a central instance and some sub instances. The problem is, when the application is launched, the login field and password field are displayed correctly. When the user ID and Password is typed and Logon is Hit ..the fields change to "Via popup".
Is this a problem with SSO2 not configured correctly on Production Box. But why it loads correctly first time the application is called ?
It works fine with Dev and QA Boxes.
Thanks
Thanks . The problem was that in RZ10 the server profiles were not proper. SO SSO was not working.

Hello SAP User,
we have the same problem as you described, but only on our production instance. We compared the server profiles of each instance, but we couldn´t fix the problem. What was reason why sso didn´t work on your production instance?
I would be very pleased If you let me know, how you fixed the problem.
Regards
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian,
ALl I know is the profiles maintained in RZ10 were local profiles and not global. Thats what the basis guy told me. That was the reason SSO was not working.
Try talking this to ur Basis team. If more indepth info is needed pls let me know and I will ask my Basis team what they did.
Thanks
Hello SAP User,
thank you for your quick reply. During you wrote your post we found the problem. It was not bescause of wrong profile parameters but because of a wrong user type. The user type was set to "service". After we set it to "dialog" the system logon works.
Nevertheless thank you very much!
Regards
Sebastian
Forgot to add -> After the "Via popup" is displayed and Logon is Hit, the basic authentication box pops up for the user"
