Hi Experts,

I have few doubt regarding configurations for the IDOCs in the SAP system...

  • Do we need to maintain distribution model(BD64) always while configuring IDOCs for standard message types too or providing message type in the Partner Profile details and configuring process code is suffice.

  • How we can maintain same message twice for one Logical System, like REQOTE (msg type) for same logical system, one creating the quotation and other for changing.

Hi,

for your first question, the BD64 is only an easy way to create the partner profile. I never use it, I prefer directly used the WE20
