How to turn a infospoke into open hub destination

Hi Gurus,

We have been using info spoke in the sap bi system, how can I change it to Open Hub Destination?

Hi Rajesh,

It's not possible to migrate an Infospoke to an Open Hub Destination. Infospoke is using 3.x data staging technology and Open Hub Destination 7.0 data staging technology.

The only way is to create a new Open Hub Destination with similar settings and the corresponding Transformation and DTP.

info spoke is the BW 3.x version but open hub destination is the BI 7.x version  data can be distributed  from BI system to the Other thirt part tools

or

is there any requirement on that please share it we will try to solve.

Hi Rajesh,

When working with an Open Hub Destination, you have a Transformation. Here you have all ABAP routines available, i.e. Start Routine, Field Routine and End Routine. Alternatively, you can use an Expert Routine.

In other words, you have to "migrate" the logic of the BAdI implementation to the new Transformation. Here you have all transformation functionality (incl. routines) available like in any other normal data flow.

InfoSPoke is used for Open Hub destination

Open Hub is a mini system push data from BW to Third-Party system

InfoSpoke is a tool that Open Hub uses for this process.

info spoke is the BW 3.x version but open hub destination is the BW 7.x data source.
