Reverse GR without reverse settlement

Dear Expert,

We have situation like this:

Production Order A.

GI : 100

Confirmation : 100

GR : 300

Settlement : -100 to Finished Good Material

The material price control is V.

User have cancelled the GR without cancelling the settlement (The Production Order is wrong and need to be marked for deletion)

the price when cancelling GR is 200 (300 from original GR  -100 from settlement), GI and Confirmation are also cancelled.

And then user reverse the settlement, with resulting the Production Order now has balance -100.

How to solve this issue?

I am thinking to GR again, and then settle, and then cancel the GR again, so that the Production Order balance is 0.

Is this the correct way?

Please kindly advised.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi

Please share screen shot of your order analysis report to see the last position  because so many actions have been taken.

However if you think by your proposed action if order gets nullified and balance becomes zero and there is no FI entry mismatch  , you can go ahead

Hi Kamal,

Thanks for replying.

I can't access the system right now.

But the report analysis is like this.

Material Consumption : 0 (50, cancel -50)

Activity : 0 (150, cancel -150)

Production Output : -100 (GR -300, cancel GR 200)

Settlement : 0 (-100, cancel 100)

I want to test in the Development once I can access the system.

But I want to confirm it first in case anyone has ever experienced this before and how they solved it.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi

From your analysis the value showing is the difference of settlement arises at the time of revering the GR and which is in your PRD a/c...also

Just check it...if my assumption is correct then your proposed action will not help.

Hi Steve,

Run settlement for the order, this will make the balance 0.

Hi,

I tried my initial proposal and it works.

It's not going to PRD since settlement will settle the value to the Finished Good Inventory also.

Thanks

Hi,

if you run settlement without GR, then the value will not go to the Inventory.

So I need to GR first (and cancel GR after settlement)

Steve
