Project sharing:-Authorization 'REPO.MAINTAIN_NATIVE_PACKAGES' missing for package 'hello' or one of its parent packages.

Hi ,

I am getting error "Authorization 'REPO.MAINTAIN_NATIVE_PACKAGES' missing for package 'hello' or one of its parent packages."  when i  tried to share project .

I followed SAP HANA Cloud Platform  to create a project and to install tool i followed   SAP Development Tools for Eclipse

I checked there is no update available for plugins.

I have installed Eclipse LUNA and all plugins available at SAP Development Tools for Eclipse - Luna Software Repository  .

    Hi Sonu,

Make sure that you follow ,

Step 5 : Create an XS Project

    2. Enter the project name. In this example, it is called hello.
    3. Deselect the Use default location checkbox.
    4. Browse to select the path C:\HANAXSws\myhanaxs\p1234567890trial\myhanaxs\hello.Note that this path must match that specified in the previous section.
    5. Open the context menu of the hello folder and choose Start of the navigation path Team Next navigation step Share Project End of the navigation path.
    6. Choose SAP HANA Repository and under Repository Workspaces select the repository workspace you created in section 4 above.

Found the issue.  Once I carefully redid my repository and package names and paths I got it working, seems like there was some conflict or mismatches.

    Hi,

I've just got the same error, and finally it works.

How? You must pay special attention when you define your repository path, because under the path you choose, you have to follow with the structure of your system... like this:

    path --> "<what you want>/p...trial/myhanaxs/hello"

    Hope this help you

    Hi,

'REPO.MAINTAIN_NATIVE_PACKAGES'  error occurs when project location to be shared is not correct.

On creating the workspace in Repository view, try to checkout on the workspace. It automatically creates the location in your local system.

And on creating project in Project explorer view, the correct package path can be selected.
