RFC lookup, data issue

Hi All,

This is a simple requirement, but strangely it is executing in am unexpected mannner.

I am having a Z table containing message ID and IDOC number.

I am using an RFC lookup to send a messageID to ECC and fetch the corresponding IDOC number back to PI, the RFC works perfectly in ECC if executed, but when run from PI, it returns a garbage or buffer value. For testing purpose, i hardcoded the value in the RFC to be sent back to PI, but still it displays the garbage value.  i am not sure why this is happening. i am using PI 7.4.

Has anyone faced this issue, if so, please provide the solution.

Thanks,
SG

    hi Saiyog,

Could you please clear cache and stop-start your RFC channel.

    hope this helps.

    thanks and regards,

    Praveen

    Hi Saiyog,

Delete the RFC and reimport it after cache refresh as Praveen said but do the full cache refresh .
