Hi Murali,

Go to forum. there are many topics related to SKF.

Few of them are:-

Statistical Key Figure - General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL) (New) - SAP Library

Statistical Key Figures and Statistical Key Figure Groups - Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA) - SAP ...

Example:-

Basically, if you talk about SKF in terms of a project and that too in terms of a construction, then there are many activities like excavation, PCC, RCC, Re-inforcement, Shuttering etc which can be measured according to their unit of measurement like MT (Metric Tonnes), M (Meter) etc.

Now, when we plan something in Project. It needs to have its associated SKF. Like for next 3 months you would be doing 90 MT of concreting and against which you will post your actuals. Now,system would calculate your SKF Plan vs SKF Actuals. However, there is also a provision of cancellation of your actuals SKF.

I would rather suggest you to try in your development/quality client.

Step1:-     use KK01. Create one SKF-Lets say. EXCVNS (Excavation). Put the UOM as MT (Metric Tonnes)

Step2:- use CJK2. Here, you will plan your SKF for the period defined.

Step2:- Use KB31N. Here, you will post your actuals against your planned SKF.

You may also use report S_ALR_87013548 to see the SKF planning and posting distributions.

I hope this may help you a bit.

Hi Amit, Thank you for the reply. In addition to the above details, I have some queries regarding: 1. How system will update the budget during execution i.e., if i am posting actual against planned SKF. 2. Production process linked to projects (concrete, Bitumen, etc)  3. Settlement process. Please explain in detail about the process if possible. Thanks & Regards Murali K N

Hi Murali,

Let me handle your queries point wise.

1. How system will update the budget during execution i.e., if i am posting actual against planned SKF

Answer:- Do not get confuse with budgeting and SKF Planning/Posting. Both are different. SKF has nothing to do with budgeting. In SKF, you are handling with quantities, percentages etc. It may not incur any cost.

2. Production process linked to projects (concrete, Bitumen, etc)

Answer:- Here, you need to have a progress analysis for SKF. You need to calculate POC (Percentage of completion) against each SKF. You need to change some SPRO settings too where in you would require to map the measurement methods, Linking measurement methods to SKF. It would be better if you go through the following link.

3. Settlement process

Answer:- As and when your SKF gets completed. Then its associated network/WBS needs to settled. For this you need to post the Final Confirmation of your network/activities using CN25 OR you need to create a settlement rule for all your WBS and then settle the cost.

I hope this may help you.
