MIRO for Sch Agreement (LPA) without GR indicator

Hello All,

My Client would like to use new functionality of entering Service Items in Scheduling agreement (LPA). They do not want to use GR but only wish to do IR. Somehow the line items cannot be listed in MIRO. After analysis we informed client its mandatory to maintain Delivery schedule for these lines unless until MIRO cannot be done for those line items. Has anybody tried this out that Invoicing for such SA's can be done without maintaining Delivery schedules. I just want to be confirmed on this part before writing to SAP

Thanks and Regards

Suhel

Is there any reason why you want to use schedule agreements instead of a blanket order ?

Hello Jurgen,

The current process is to use the Blanket PO only. But they are planning to move to SA's and first start with invoicing without GR and then proceed with Delivery schedule and releases in next phase

But system isnt allowing to do invoicing here until schedule lines are maintained.

Thanks and Regards

"But they are planning to move to SA's"  is just a fact but does not explain the reason.

Right, SAP does not allow to post invoices against a schedule agreement without schedule lines. This was the trigger to ask why the want to change from blanket orders to schedule agreements, since they are naturally used for quite contrary purposes.

Hi,

Per normal SA definition it is to be maintained with delivery schedule as the very purpose of SAs is the supply based upon a delivery for a quantity of material .
