Hi,

When ever I am clicking on document flow tab of any buisness document ex-clicking on FSD from FO document flow tab I am getting below enclosed error message-

Failed to resolve Object Based Navigation target "SAP_TM.SCMTMS_OBN.TCM_SFIR".

Use transaction PFCG to define this OBN target in a role or contact your system

administrator to assign a role with the relevant OBN entries to your user.

This error message occurs even when I am planning to open FU from OTR etc.

Hi Dipak,

The error message says it all, actually. You use a PFCG role, which does not have a menu entry linked to the OBN operation TCM_SFIR of object SCMTMS_OBN.

From the document flow (from any TM screen actually), the program does not call an explicit application, but such a virtual OBN operation. The role is supposed to resolve the target (this way opens the possibility to define role-specific targets for the same operations - either different WD applications, or at least a different application configuration).

How to maintain this link? In tcode PFCG, open the affected role, locate the menu entry which is supposed to be the target, then double click on it, then use button "Other node details", then on the bottom-right side maintain the OBN assigment.

Alternately, use the option Copy Menus > From SAP Menu > Local to copy the folder named OBN Targets from any SAP delivered roles. It contains all possible OBN target assignments used in TM.

Cheers,

Dragos
