Please can you update me on lpd_cust ,has it replaced the configuration which we do as a s sap functional consultants.

Is lpd_cust applicable  from ehp5 onwards

Please help

yes LPD_CUST ( launchpad is applicable from EHP5 onwards ) which is a replacement of HOMEPAGE FRAMEWORK .....services which we use in portal for launchpad is readymade as per ur requirement of services you can customize the launchpad , refer below you can get idea about launchpad :-

To change the Contents,

Go to transaction LPD_CUST. Select ESS (Role), Menu (instance) as shown below

For customization, it is better to create a new Launchpad as a copy of the Standard SAP ESS Menu. To do this, go back to transaction LPD_CUST, and select ‘New Launchpad’.
