Data Extraction from Non SAP System for SAP BPC MS

Hello Experts,

I have worked on SAP BPC NW for last one year. I have recently started exploring SAP BPC MS and i would be glad if anyone can help me how to extract data from NON SAP ERP system to SAP BPC MS.

If the underlying is ORACLE ERP how do we extract the master and transaction data to BPC?

After some initial search I saw docs on BODS integration, for this do we need any more licences ? If yes is there any other way?

Hi Rohan,

we resolved this with MS SSIS packages, extracting data from DB2, ORACLE, flat files, etc.

You have to import the BPC tasks into BIDS and you will have total control of BPC from SSIS.

Here's the how to import BPC tasks to BIDS:

Hi Rohan,

you have to export data from ERP with standard process chain into a flat file and import into BPC through standard import package using conversion and transformation files.

yes but this method becomes highly manual with a lot intervention....

hence not reliable or acceptable.......

Let me know if any other way..... I read about use of SSIS package.....

will be helpful if any info on the same.
