How to blink LED light or sound from ITSMobile

Hi,

My partner is developping ITSmobile for handheld terminal.

They want to develop ITSMobile application that can blink LED light or sound alert on handheld when user enter wrong data or out of inventory.

Is there anyone who has experience for these kinds of development?

I found ITSMobile service parameter ~ITSMOBILEMSGSOUND, but this parameter can only invoke wave file.

They want to vibrate handheld or blink LED light.

Any idea will be appreciated for me.

Thank you and kind regards.

Mizuka.

    Hello Mizuka,

are your answer still open? If it does so, check this out:

you have allready set the service parameter ~ITSMOBILEMSGSOUND = 1

But i suppose that you do not set on your ERP Dynpro the sound:

See therefore sap message: 1428050 to know what to do.

You will find the sounds in your ITS Service in the mime object directory

You can insert your own sound file or choose standard sounds of SAP.

Even on your DYNPRO there have to been set some customizings:

    Set messagesound = 1.

Thats not all, now you have to change ITS Templates in that way, an error occur soundfile may played.

May this will help you or help an another SCN user which is searching for a solution.

    Best regards

    Thorsten
