Sales Order Form slow to retrieve data

Hi All,

Since upgrading a customer from 8.82 to 9.0 PL:14, they are finding that the system is slow when you open the Sale Order form and try to navigate to a Sales Order.

Whether you use the navigation buttons or try to find a specific sales order by entering the order number it is taking up to 20 secs to find and load the data. The same is not experienced with the Purchase Order screen.

Nothing have change in terms of the configured system. All that was done was the upgrade. The system performance was fine on 8.82.

I have done the usual checks but nothing come to light.

Any idea?

Hi Nagarajan,

Many thanks for the reply.

However, this is not the symptom. The issue relates to retrieving data once the form is loaded.

e.g.

Select Sales Order - Screen open

Press Ctrl +F - put screen into find mode

enter Sales Order number then click find

This can take up to 22 seconds for the record to appear.

Hi,

1. If any add-on, stop and then try to find.

2. Close all other applications and then check performance.

3. Deactivate if any item availability check.
