Hi,
I have this case, My DB is expanding unusually, its now more than 100 GB, yes GB not MB, we have been using B1 for less than 2 years now, I tried to shrink and created maintenance plan. but thats not helping,
We don't have inventory, only we are generating 2000 invoices monthly, and 2000 incoming with checks (12 checks for each incoming), 20,000 JE.
Any advice will be appreciated.
SAP B1 8.82
SQL Server 2008 R2 Std
Windows 2008 R2 64bit
Thanks
Ahmad
Hi Ahmad,
First, make sure your DB recovery module set up as simple.
Check the log file size.
Run Top table size standard report to find top most tables. What are they?
Thanks,
Gordon

Is your database set to full recovery? If so, do you take transaction log backups regularly?

Hi
in this database, please check in General Settings --> Services --> History / log if you have 99.
In a test database, reduce this value to 70 and check if the database size is reducing too. After this shrink the log file to the mínimum size.
You can repeat this operation to reduce this value as 25.
This value saves the number of instances you have in the history of any record.
Kind regards
