Planning to move to HCM from ABAP HR?

Hello Friends,

I have around 4 years of experience in ABAP HR.

I now want to move into SAP HR (functional), since I feel that I have now attained a saturation level in ABAP, and need to widen my scope in SAP.

Could you sugget how can I make a beginning towards this area? Is it worth moving towards HCM?

Domain experience with Business Knwoledge.

That is what is key to become a Functional Consultant.

Hi Kiran,

     As you worked as HR ABAP consultant you are having basic knowledge about HR. So it will be easy for you to move to SAP HR.

According to me it will be good if you become functional consultant now because you have worked on ABAP already so you will perform good in your career as Functional HR consultant.
