Invalid check number in house bank accounts setup

Hi,

I'm getting the error "Numeric Value deviates from legal range" when trying to setup a check number the exceeds 2147483648.  As per system information, the valid values are between -2147483648 to 2147483648 which is probably the reason it's throwing the error.  Is there any way around this?  In my localization, check numbers usually exceeds this limit.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

Hi Balaji,

Thank you for your reply.  I understand that this error is due to data type restriction; I was just wondering if there's any workaround for this, or if SAP intends to address this in the future, since many clients have been running into this.
