Hi Experts,
Currently I can see only two language(English and German) on SAP Launchpad Login page.
Through the SAP standard document I came to know that we have to redefine below property :
# Application supported languages
application_languages=EN,FR,DE
But I am not able to find exactly where to make the changes to enable Chinese language.
Can anyone please help on this.
Thanks and Regards,
Puneet Jain
Hi Puneet ,
The Fiori Applications in general supports 14 languages are the configuration can be done as below :
1) Run T code SICF
2) Navigate to /default_host/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/launchpage
3) The screen looks as in the screenshot below
Make sure you are in edit mode and select configuration .
System Login Settings contains the languages option. If enabled , will be appeared in launchpad
Also look at PAM for the list of languages supported by the applications.
Regards

Hi Virinchy,
Your inputs helped us to find out the root cause for this issue.
1) First we need to check whether the required Language packs are installed. Check 'SMLT' trasaction. where you can find out the list of languages which got installed in our system.
2) Once that is done, please do check the Language check box as suggested by the Virinchy in the above post.
3) You will be successfully able to see in the List of languages in your language field in the Fiori Logon page.
Thanks
Hi Punet,
the intructions provided were good, but the detail is that the service for the Fiori Launchpad is other.
Instead of:
1) Run T code SICF
2) Navigate to /default_host/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/launchpage
It is:
1) Run T code SICF
2) Navigate to /default_host/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell
And after that follow the instructions provided in the screen.
Thanks in advance,
Rodolfo
