Material Master Validation is not working at MDG Portal

Hi

We have done validation in Material master - Accounting view on Price determination, our requirement is to have specific price determination as per the material type. this development has been done in ECC and moved changes to MDG server, now when we create material master through MM01 in MDG it is working fine, but through portal when we create material master this validation is not considering and system allowing to enter any price determination.

Please suggest way to enable this validation in MDG Portal level.

What is the meaning of your sentence we create material master through MM01 in MDG it is working

as no transaction is possible in MDG.

Please refer below and reconfirm selection of relevent check box against reuse area

Hi Sanjay, Thanks for your reply, I mean to say that ECC development (BADI) changes are moved to MDG DEV server, in MDG DEV server we can create material master using MM01 or through Portal. (Off course we should not create through MM01 in MDG but we did Just to check ABAP validation changes are working fine or not and found this validation is working). What ever the changes done MM01 by using BADI in ECC is not working in MDG, though changes are available in MDG DEV. Please let me know any activity to be done in MDG for these cases. you question is not clear, as far as I understood.you are trying to create the validation in ECC and moving it to MDG HUB.

   When you tested the BADI using the MM01 in MDG the validation is working but not on the MDG UI.

if yesy I guess you need to define the BADI:Data Quality and Search->Business Add-Ins.

but again let us know what excetly your are trying to do.
