Hi experts,

Yesterday, I uploaded a UI5 app in

I successfully transport my UI5 app to another system.

Now I am trying to deleting this app in Transport, too. But I am not able to find the entry to specify the Package & Transport in /nSE38 -> /ui5/ui5_repository_load -> delete

Can you tell me how I can delete my app in Transport approach?

Thanks a lot.

Kind regards,

Kenny

You need to go to the transport (SE10/SE09). Expand the transport contents, and find the object entry for the app. Just right click on it and delete it.

If you try to edit and save the UI5 app again, it will ask for a new transport request now.

Hi Krishna,

Thank you for your reply.
The transport is released already. I found in , one solution is to create a new transport and include all object from the released one.

How can I mark the object entry as 'To be deleted'?

I guess if I removed the entry in the newly created TR, the organizer may discard the action to the object entry.

Can you suggest what shall I do? I have to be careful for this 'Delete' action.

Kind regards,

Kenny

I guess you want to keep the app in source system and want to delete in the destination system.

In that case, copy the existing app into a new app. Based on the package assignment for the new app, this might require a new transport.

Now that you have the backup of the app, delete the app. This will ask for a transport for the delete action. Create a new transport for this. Release this new transport. This will delete the app in destination system as well.

Thank you Krishna. I followed your instruction and found the entry to specify the Transport Request.

Issue is resolved.

Kind regards,

Kenny
