Bulletin Board/messages

Dear All,

have any one worked on bulletin messages? we are crm 7.1 ehp3

we have activated the business function required for bulletin board messages, however we are not able to find the place from where we can actually use it.

i.e how to maintain custom message or are there any assignment blocks related to bulletin messages?

we are trying to use this functionality for below requirement..

User A shall maintain a custom message for customer A. So when ever other users open this customer or whenever this customer is used in any txn, then system should populate the message entered by user A

I have already assigned the function profile to business role and made required config settings...

Hi Sweta

Bulletin boards , you need to maintain at Account level.

There are 2 assignment blocks provided at business partner ui

1) Own Bulletin Boards - You can display the bulletin board maintained for that Account only.

2) Related Bulletin - All business partner relationship bulletins are used there .

After maintaining the Bulletin Board at Account master , you can use them in some business transactions . For example when you create a Service Request with the customer who has a bulletin maintained , there will be pop-up at Service Request which informs the agent with the bulletin board message .

Thank you Vinayak/Dharmakasi.

Though i have created the bulletin message, i still dont see the message when ever i open the same account for which i have maintained a bulletin message.

Also i have added context for sales and services and created a sales activity with the account, but still i dont see any message. I removed the context and tried but no luck..

Where you would like to see the bulletin? Is it at any particular transaction? or At Account Level?

Hello Vinayak, its at account level i.e when ever we open an account. System should display the message(bulletin) in the message area.

Hey Vinayak,

  We do deal with a pop up for bulletin, in account confirmation page.

We enhanced the event handler for the same, EH_CONFIRM in ICCMP_BP_DETAIL component.

Still we are not able to pop up the bulletin board.

Any clues to figure this out?

Hi Sweta,

I am not having much knowledge on Bulletin messages. I have seen in one of the SAP help portal url, you have to add few views in related transtion types in web ui.
