Delimit object type C(Jobs) and create with new start date.

Hi,

We need to delimit object type C.Below is how the current record looks like .

Object C 12345678   Start date 13/01/2007 to 31/12/9999, Text of the Object(Recruitment)

Now we want to change the text of the object from (Recruitment) to (Talent Acquisition) Effective from 12/20/2014 to 31/12/9999 . I am not able to do the same from PP01 or PP02. While i am trying to change from PP01 or PP02 i get this information message

"Infotype 1000 can only be delimited via "Delimit object"

Tried with many options but no luck on it.

Go to PO03 enter Object details select Object Info type click on Shift+F8 then select the record and click on SHift+F9  change the start date, text as you required and save it it solves your problem.

you can create new IT1000 record with the dates begda=12/20/2014 and endda = 31/12/9999 . according to TC sistem will delimit previous IT1000 record and save new one.

Have you tried these ways:-

->Go to pp01 and on top you have tab object...select delimit from drop down and try to change

->go to ppom_old ..select option edit...drop down...delimit

->Go to ppome....end date is editable..change from there.
