DTP ERROR in Process Chain : Update terminated in accordance with error handling setting

Hi Experts ,

I got the below error in Master Data PC. Please assist to fix the issue. I have tried find answer SCN , But no fix found.

Please provide me detailed information step by step to fix if you have solution.

DTP Error:

• Update terminated in accordance with error handling setting
• Exceptions in Substep: End of Master Data Update
• Messages for 1 data records saved; request is red acc. to configuration
• Processing Terminated.

Find the Screen shot and assist.

Hi,

Delete the loaded request and do the correction at psa.

Later reload form psa to target.

Above error is worng data.

there is a value as "CDC big ". Here you can see that as last digit is empty space.

Delete taht space and save the record at PSA.

Later reload to target.

Even check about lower case as well.

Hey Naveen,

Check to see if your characteristic has a conversion routine. The error might be there.

Use RSA3 in source system and look of the same data record. It could be that some special character is not acceptable by BW.

In that case go to PSA correct the error record and reload the data manually.

Hi Naveen.

delete the request in data target level then you will get edit option in PSA. edit the record manually in PSA. here it was showing "CDC big " is not invalid. delete it and enter manually. and also check "big" is in lower case.
