Leave approver getting msg: "You cannot approve the leave from Employee to Manager yourself"

Hi,

we upgraded our system. but now Leave approver getting message as :  "You cannot approve the leave from Employee to Manager yourself".

We are using POWL for leave approval inbox.

our current version of the software are:

I checked the thread and tried to apply the note: 2000608, but it says "Cannot be implemented".

is there anything missing, we need to do to make it work.

you already should have the note in your environment as you are on Higher SP level ie 8 and note came in SP5. Please check if you raise another leave request do you still get the error? and ensure you are using the correct config as per note 1773641

it got resolved after applying the note 1946640 - POWL : Incorrect leave approval record selected
