Hesa 2014/15 Changes

Hi All,

I have an issue with HESA 2014/15, after implementing the notes successfully

(2043782,2043783,2051598,2051599,2052983 and 2040880)

However, the user has deleted the entry in Destination Field (infotype 0615) and has saved it. Due to this there an error NO ENTRY IN TABLE T5GPBSH_DES2 for XX. I have tried to access the database table via SE11. What I would like to know is why it is pointing to this table? Could it be the Data Dictionary needs updating?

What is more confusing that this has happened only after deleting an entry and saving, which has now extended to all master data despite no changes being made.

(please see attached screenshot).

How can I amend this? My understanding was 2052983 was to fix this note. Please help to clarify this.

Hi Guys,

I've resolved the issue:

  • The HESA 2014/15 introduced a new conversion program RPUHSIG0, to split/remove any IT0614 and 0615 field records that currently exist, giving it an end date 31.07.2014, and starting a new record spanning from 01.08.2014 – 31.12.9999.

Before you move any transports into live it is best to check if you have any issue with Infotype delimitations already inputted by HR using tools SE16 or SE16N

Hi Nathan,

Our HR person who used to run the HESA return has left and not much of a handover done.  The new person is struggling on how to do the HESA returns.

What were the HESA changes for 2014/2015?  Is there a documentation, from SAP, which would detail the changes and what we need to do.

Any help or assistance would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hi Shamshudin,

If you read notes: 2043782,2043783,2051598,2051599,2052983 and 2040880 you will get an understanding of the HESA changes to infotypes 0614,0615 and 617 - furthermore a few reports have been introduced. Extraction Reports for HESA 14/15 have not been introduced by SAP as of yet - anyhow, these notes will give you a heads-up.

Nathan,

Thank you, I will start to look at these notes with our HESA user.

Do you know when the extraction program is due from SAP?  Is there a contact at SAP to find out on the timetable for HESA SAP changes?

As we have limited knowledge on the HESA process any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Shamshudin
