Equipment creation problem

Hi,

I am relatively new to PM module. I am creating a equipment through IE01 and assigning the function location to it and I am getting below warning message. Why we get this one. how to correct this one. Functional location already existing.

Hi Kumar,

Please compare the dates of functional location created & date at which you are trying to install the equipment and equipment validity date (Valid since).

You will get the clue for this message.

Please change Past date to Present date inst/Dism Time.

Hello

Functional Location on which you are trying to install the equipment is not available on date 01.01.2011 .Equipment Installation date should be fall afterThe Functional laoction Creation date .

So better to change the  installation date and time of  the equiment.Go in IL03 and check below

one reason might be, 01.01.2011 is not a working day. Could you please try to change to next working day/Date and try

Change the Inst/DismTime to present Date and Time.
