Hi. You need to log into the vendor (external business partner) from NWBC or the portal and edit the vendor.
I think as standard it is in the operational purchaser role.
Once in the vendor, click on "Contact Data" which is on the first tab, then scroll down to output medium.
Here you can change to print, email, fax and XML.
If you don't see XML as an option, you first need to change config in SPRO, cross application settings > Activate SAP NetWeaver Process Integration
Even if you are not using PI, you need to activate this option to get XML to appear as an output option.
Once it appears then the method call output options will be available for you to play with. I've made it call the standard IDOC output in ECC from SRM for my EC POs, as we already have PI in ECC it was easier that way. You can implement whatever options you want once you have the output calling a method.
