store a global customer number

hello all!

I was asked to find a field to store a 6 digits number for a global customer and it has to be on the general data for a hierarchy node 1 and 2. This will be for European customers  with global account number.

Can anybody give me some light about it??

Hi Laura,

From what i have understood from the requirement you are looking for a field which can hold some custom field value in the SAP system .

You can have a look at the Train station field in the KNA1 table . The field is of the type CHAR , so it can take in any type of value.
