Can we take an Offline Backup in SAP Hana Database?
Why do you want to take an offline backup?
If it is to get a "consistent" backup of the database, then good news is: you don't need an offline backup for that.
Just like with SAP MaxDB, SAP HANA backups are always restartable and can be used for system copies.
However, you can take copies of all files in the file system to create a copy of the instance on a different host.

Hello Lars,
Sorry for late reply as I was not well.
Yep, I just asked for my knowledge if it is possible to take any offline backup in Hana DB as in all the books/blogs I have heard only about Hana Online backup.
One more thing, If I am not taking Log back up and taking only Data Backup (Online), is it possible to recover a consistent Hana DB?
