I am trying to use Solution Manager to download SAP Business Objects 4.0 patches. However, in the Maintenance Optimizer, I am getting these errors:

The display help has this text:

Diagnosis

The Maintenance Optimizer is informed for instance by the System Landscape Directory (SLD) about installed product instances. Every installed instance must be marked as relevant or in case of an ABAP instance also installed instance in the Solution Manager SMSY or LMDB.

Only marked instances are identified as installed instances by the Maintenance Optimizer.

Cancelation of the process.

Procedure

Mark instance as relevant or in case of an ABAP instance also installed instance in the SMSY or LMDB

The SAP Business Objects server does exist in SMSY and LMDB. The Tomcal server that is associated with it exists in the SLD, but the Business Objects Server itself does not.

In LMDB: <SID> (Product System) | Software | Assigned Product Instances

Not every product instance is marked as 'Diagnostics-Relevant'. Is this what the above help message is referring to? If so, do I need to mark them all as 'Diagnostics-Relevant'? is this safe to do?
