Hi Guys,
In EC Payroll, the Payroll Information page contains Portlets (e.g. shown below) where a portlet label is linked to infotype, url or a pre-delivered service. This in turn would enable EE/HR/Manager to update relevant payroll information.
Should the configuration be the same in case of a hybrid scenario with EC and payroll on-premise OR, should each portlet label be created as a custom MDF? The flexibility of MDF's would enable us to create custom UI's which is similar to what an infotype would contain and this data can in turn be replicated.

Hi Deepraj,
This is standard functionality for both SAP ERP Payroll and Employee Central Payroll (since they use the same underlying engine).
