Distribution functionality in MF50

Hello Team,

I want to distribute the planned order quantity as 1 for the same date in MF50 in some cases.

For Ex, If I have single planned order with qty as 5 for the date 20-12-2014, by using MF50, I want to create/distribute 5 different planned orders for the same date with each planned order as 1. Is this functionality possible in MF50 in standard SAP?.

Please throw some light on this. Advance thanks for your response.

Thanks for your reply.

I have only one production line and single production version for that material.

The production line have capacity of 10 qty for single day. So in this case, I want to distribute my single planned order qty with 10 to 10 single planned orders for the same day with qty as 1.

Can we achieve this functionality by using distribution function keys in MF50?.

Venkatesh,

No with MF50 it is not possible for splitting for single production line and PV.

Check alternate options like fixed lot size as 1 or BADI MD_ADD_ELEMENT method ADD_CHANGE_ELEMENTS to create separate planned orders during MRP for different requirements on same day.

You can also split the planned order Shift Basis and you can distribute the qty shift wise or if you have multiple prod line then you can assign the valid PV and split the Qty as Kiran Kumar suggested

How do you split this in to multiple orders on same date with one work center?

If you have different production lines hence different PVs you can split on same date.
