Disabale Alerts for a particular Java System

Hi All,

Please guide me in disabling  automatic alert  mail  for a java system. I am receiving false alert for a system in large number, We want to remove monitoring for that system.

Details for System:

Netweaver Version :7.31 SP11

Hi Michael/Billy,

I selected None in assigning template in Technical Monitoring for desired system and activated the changes, This has temporarily stopped alert mail. Will follow your steps too if my present step fails.

In the Tech Mon of solman_setup when you define the scope highlight the java system and click on remove monitoring.

Take note this will also disable monitoring/alerting for the system/instance/host/and database.

Can you be more specific in your question, do you want to remove the monitoring totally from the system or just remove the alerts?
