SAP DMS Link to Inspection Lot QALS

Hi experts,

Can anyone tell me how to implement the Object Link to inspection lot.

Am using EHP 6.and found that there are some notes to be implemented note.

Does anyone have worked with the DMS Object link with Inspection lot.

request you to kindly let me know the solution at the earliest.

Can you please suggest me.

For Inspection Lot object link, i have seen some note .and there is a option to go ahead with the link that you have mentioned.

Can you please suggest me by which method i can achieve my requirement easily,since am going to use the Screen number 500 which is a dummy screen in DMS.

Also the attached Documents to inspection lot should visible in Results recording.

is there any standard switch or business Function for the DMS Object link to inspection lot  ???

Please suggest me ASAP.

Hi,

In EHP7, QALS object link is a part of DMS standard functionality.

But in EHP6, you have to go for development.

Hi Veeramani,

You need to do some config in SPRO to develop the object link for Inspection lot. You have to do the config for "Maintain screen for Object Link" & "Maintain Key Fields" in Document management, "Control Data" option.

Then with the help of ABAPer you need to develop the screen for Inspection lot as object link in DMS same as other object link screens like Material Master, BOM, Equipment etc.

Use the program SAPLCV00 & SAPLCV130  to develop the screen for QALS as module pool.

ABAPer's can do this easily. Let me know if you have any doubts.

Hello ,

You can attach document in inspection lot via service for object button provided in the left corner in QA32/QA33.

If you want to try then assign QALS table in object link in customization in DMS. But i dnt think so it works bcoz this facility is in EHP7 onwards only.
