Sections - Hide When : how to hide a section via a formula on a measure ?

Dear all,

In this Web Intelligence document on eFashion, I want to hide the sections having a Sales revenue > 13.000.000

  • Query : Year - Sakes revenue
  • Section on Year

This is the inital result :

Using the "Hide When" menu on the section, I specify this :

This results in hiding all sections.

Do I have to specify a context parameter ?

=[Sales revenue] in Section > 13.000.000 also hides all sections

Many thanks for your ideas.

PS. I'm isolating here a more complex problem. I know I can fix this by applying a query filter.

PS. Version : SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1 SP2

    Hi Segers,

Please apply hide option to both the Sales revenue table and the section cells seperately..

First apply hide option to Table - so table will get hidden..

then apply hide option to Year Section cells - Then the mission accomplished... :-)

I have tried the same it worked for me...

Your logic was not working becoz when you apply Salesrevenue >13000000 , the condition becomes true for the whole section. So it hides whole section..

You try my logic.. If it wokrs , let me know...

    Have a great day ..

I found a workaround (only solution ?) : apply a report filter, at the level of the section :
