How to delete the PR generated by SAP when network activity released

Dear Experts,

I have a scenarion where dueing the material BOM transfer ( CN33) we choose Purreq+ Reservation for WBS indicator for all the "Q" stock . The reason being we want the system to generate the PR when the corresponding actvity is released.

However in some times, we have transfered stock from plant to project and we don't need the PR anympore. In that case i want the PR to be cancelled OR closed OR Deleted

However if I delete the material line item in the network activity, system can delete the PR but we don't want that as i need to issue this material in to project

Hence I would want to set Closed in the PR but , the filed is not open for user input ioin CN52N

If i created PR directly without from activity RELEASE status. thene I'm able to set the closed indicator

Hence please let me know if anyone know is it SAP STD and doesn't allow to do that?

Or is there any SPRO seetings. I did check the PR layout setting and the clsoed indicator set as optional. But in ME52N it doesnt allow to set

Hello,

project builder created PR can not be edit or deleted by ME52n transaction you have to change it by same project builder.

Dear Srinivasa,

in network itself you can select WE Reservation plant stock and you can issue directly for the reservation generated in the project ,but while doing MIGO Goods Issue remove the special stock indicator(Q) and issue only for MVT type

Dear Srinivasa,

first let me be clear ,

you actually want to supply material against a reservation number in Project

so you can close the existing PR by deleting the activity in project and create a new activity for which no PR shall be raised for ,only reservation shall be raised for that,and issue material against reservation

other way out is you can also issue material againt a WBS element from which activity(PR)is created.

but only thing is all you have to do it in project (CN22/CJ20N)and not in material management.(ME52N)

Hello Srinivasa,

If you have created PR from Network Activities, then you can not edit them in ME52N directly.

You need to edit or delete them in Network Activity only.

There is correction report RLORD035 which is available in SAP to correct inconsistencies in PR deletion.
