Transactions are missing when posting to both Local and Leading ledgers

Hi,

I am posting transactions on a G/L account to both the leading ledger and the local ledger.

However some transactions I can see have posted successfully in both ledgers like I want but there are some which have only posted to the Leading ledger but not the leading ledger or vice versa.

Why does this happen and how can I resolve this issue?

Thank you

Brathap

Hi Brathap,

Yes, according with Bittor Fernandez, only FB01L and FB01L can post in differents ledgers groups. If you want to post in the ledger specific, please assing this ledger to a group, i.e:

0L - Leadind ledger - Assign to a ledger group A;

1L - Non leading ledger - Assign to ledger group B;

When you post by i.e FB50, you'll use fill with the ledger that you want. Remember that you don't fill ledger group, all ledgers are posted, like in the F-43 or FB01.

Check the interface that generates the postings whether you post through FB01 or FB01L.

Well,

I am posting transactions to a transitional account.

These transactions are exported using a treasury system the company uses called IT2.

When these get automated automatically it has been set up to post transactions which relate to transition account to the local ledger and well as the leading ledger in SAP

We are not able to post to just the local ledger only. We can only post to leading ledger or to both.

However I can see in SAP that transactions which are supposes to be in both ledgers are only in one ledger and not in the other.

I am trying to identify what could cause this to happen?

Thanks
