SAP EPM 10 8586 context not locking on Excel 2013 64 bit after ms updates

Hi,

We are currently running SAP EPM Add-in for MS Office build 8586 big vol client .net  for SAP BPC 10 NW version.

Client is running on :

MS Office Excel 2013 64 bit or Excel 2010 64 bit

Windows 7 64 bit

After MS Excel Security updates (KB2910929) was installed on clients machines the Context is not locked on reports/input schedules that we developed on Excel 2010 32 bit. The Context option under options in the EPM tab is not available and is greyed out. New reports or input schedules have the context option available, the problem is only on reports and input schedules that was previously developed on Excel 2010 32 bit version.

Please assist with any suggestions to resolving the problem.

Thanks for the assistance. We uninstalled the updates, but only after we removed the MSFormrs.exd files and restarted Excel and the problem was resolved.

maybe you have seen yet, SAP has create a note about it 2107965 - Issues in EPM Add-in after installing Microsoft updates

if as it seems it's related with the windows update  for now the only solution is to uninstall KB2910929.
