How to assign a default value or add another value to a parameter?

Hi,

I have created a report using command. I have added "DATABASE NAME" as a parameter. Below is my query in command.

"SELECT * FROM {?DatabaseName}.TableName". This is working fine.

Now, I added another dynamic parameter from the same command and set value for it and refresh report but unable to fill default value in parameter.

E,g. Pull designation column from User table and fill all into new parameter.

Can anybody help me please?

    Hi Bhavin,

    Dynamic prompts cannot have a 'Default' Value.

    Could you please elaborate on what you're trying to achieve?

      Abhilash,

      I already tried to add another command in the same connection but when I click on OK button Database Expert not responding suddenly I don't know why.

      The logic behind database parameter is I have multiple databases with same schema and I created single report for all databases.

      I am trying to fill all existing column value in the parameter.

      If this is not feasible way then suggest another way please.


      My actual requirement is create single report and connect it to multiple databases without any programming language. We have Crystal Reports 2013
