why RFQ is not possible for subcontracting process??If possible how it will be created??

I want to choose best vendor,who is taking less service charge and have to deliver in a right time,so for that purpose we have create RFQ.

While i am creating RFQ after PR it is not allowing to create.

    Hi,

    Ensure that you have added the item category L in the allowed item categories for the RFQ document type in the path: OLME - RFQ/Quotation - Define Document Types

    If its added, system will allow to create RFQ with item category L

    Also ensure that the screen layout contains the field selection group PT3A in the path: OLME - RFQ/Quotation - Define Screen Layout at Document Level. If not, copy existing and rename as PT3A.

    Test the scenario and revert back. If you are getting any other error, please share the error message.

    Well, it is possible. You need to do some configuration for that.

    First allow the item category L from OLME-RFQ/Quotation-Define Document Types-Allowed item categories

    Then you need to create a field selection key as PT3A from OLME-RFQ/Quotation-Define Screen Layout at Document Level.

    Then system will allow to create subcontracting RFQ with regards to the PR and also you can create PO with regards to this RFQ.

    I have tested that and it is working fine.
