Hi,

You dont need more license to develop something in your own company. Professional License agree develop add-ons. For more information about license, you can read this thread:

Hi,

With your professional licenses you can develop your own addons.

Please take a look at your B1 installation media, and install the SDK, if you have not done so already.

Hi Johan

Are you sure about it? Last time when we discussed it in my company a guy from sales department convinced me that one need to buy a separate license for SDK to be able to create addons.

I'm not sure: maybe he was wrong and you need that license when you're going to market your solutions and you don't need when you're developing for internal use?

What is your opinion/expertise?

Kind regards,

Radek

Hi Radek,

As you suspected, you only need a license if you want to sell your addon to third parties.

And that only if you want to use the built-in licensing mechanism to control usage on client system. Is that not so?

Hi Bartosz,

If I understand your question correctly, then no, that is not so. The idea of the SDK is that you can benefit from the built in licensing mechanism.
