Field Laboratory/design office (MARA-LABOR) is not visible in MM03 for only ONE user

Hi Folks.


We are facing a strange problem, field "Laboratory/design office (Lab/Office)" is not visible for a single user.


However when a test user was created by copying the user (For which this problem exists), meaning same roles & profiles have been copied, we could see that the field was visible for the test user.


So, we are clueless of what the issue is.


Could you please let me know what action can be taken next to fix this issue.

    It can be a happened if a transaction variant is assigned to this user only.

    Check the t-code SHD0 for the t-code MM03.

    Hi,

    It could be because of a transaction variant assigned to the user in SHD0 for MM03 or there is some own development which may restrict the display of the field for the user.

    Hi Prasson & Dibyendu,

    Thank you so much for your replies.

    I have verified SHD0 for MM03, however no screen variants were created.

    I am also checking if any development was done for this restriction.

      A field can be set optional/display/required only for one user with below reasons:

      1. Authorization matrix

      2. Transaction variant

      3. Own development.

      You have already checked first two scenario, now you need to check your own development.

      By the way, a field can be also differ with different material type, plant, industry sector.

    Check in transaction OMT3E in folder: User screen reference

    if the user has assigned a different Sref:user than other users who ar able to get this field
