Correct workflow to deploy XSA to HANA One

Hey guys. We have an Amazon provided HANA One instance. We recently tried to deploy the "scheduler" feature to HANA 1.22. Reading the documents, we realized that this version needs XSA. We tried adding via command line ./hdblcm -component_dirs=/hana/shared .. where /hana/shared contains the SAR binaries.

The subsequent install failed because the "xs_worker" HOST role was missing. When we tried to add the xs worker role we ALWAYS get

Directory ' ' does not exist .. and it dies here. Any ideas?
