Hi All,
I have created an InfoSet using Position to Employee using Position # to join both IOs. Employee is set to Left outer join. Position is my driving IO.
My requirement is to user Filter Position # and Key Date and return everything from Position even if there is no matching from EMP and matching values from Employee. (I think, this is how left outer join suppose to work)
BUT when I filter by Position 30000000, Key Date 6/14/2014, I am not getting any value. Am I missing something.

Hi,
Do you have records in EMPLOYEE for the combination 6/14/2014 and 30000000. Because in the given records in your questions. it is not there.
You should have records in EMPLOYEE first, to show data for a left outer join.

Dear Arjun,
In your case, you should make position left outer join to bring the all data from position irrespective of employee data.

Ashish
