Dear experts,
First at all, thanks a lot in advance for any help for I am a bit desperate.
Situation:
I have many products to be produced, but I need to know the following:
- How many I can produce based on the materials currently available.
- How many will I be able to produce when "confirmed materials" (in MD04 they are marked as "ShipNt") in a future date?
- How many I cannot produce because I am missing materials.
- Which materials I am missing.
Example:
I need to build 10 bycicles, so I need materials "Frame", "wheels", and "chains". I have enough materials to build 5, then I will miss frames and wheels to build the rest. The 2 frames will come in January 2015, but nothing else has been confirmed.
- How many I can produce based on the materials currently available? 5
- How many will I be able to produce in March 2015? 2 more (because in MD04 2 frames have been marked as "ShipNt")
- How many I cannot produce because I am missing materials? 5
- Which materials I am missing? wheels and frames.
What I already know:
- With MD04 I can figure out when I will not be able to produce more, but I need to query each material which takes a lot of time (I have about 40 different products).
- CO24 can tell me what is missing, but not what I can build.
- COOIS displays some data but sometimes I find that, in case of future orders, it does not display the "MSTP" code.
(Summary) The big question:
Is there any report, or set of reports, that could tell me, given a series of WBS codes (example: 40 codes):
- What I can build until a given date.
- How many I cannot built until a given date.
- Which materials, and amounts, are preventing me for building the rest to the given date.
As you can see, I am rather new on this, but I have tried to research this forum with only limited luck. Forgive me if you have seen this question many times before, maybe in a more technical manner, and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Best regards,
Marco.
Hi Marco
I suggest you to use the order report (transaction MD4C) to check the overall status of the components of a WBS.

Caetano
