Custom HR Org Unit in Project Team for WBS Element

Dear Folks,

Greetings !!

I am an ABAP developer and do not have much idea in SAP PS. I have a question which is actually a requirement from my client.

I understand that standard SAP PS provide ability to create Project Team for WBS Element in workflow planning. I can assign people, positions and organization unit to project teams for WBS elements.

However, the question is - Is it possible to have an extra (4th) category for assiging the WBS? Meaning, along with the above three - people, positions and org unit, is it possible to have one more category, say Project Role, to which the WBS element can be assigned.

If it is possible to have an extra category, then how to do it? Is it a configuration in SAP PS or will it require some enhancment?

I think this is not possible and will require some enhancement...

You can try exploring config part of Workforce planning by defining new profile in SPRO under Capacities-> Define Profile for Workforce Planning
