SAP System Monitoring App showing "Network Error"

Hi All,

I am trying to configure SAP system Monitoring app for my
ABAP systems.

Settings in SAP system Monitoring App are:

Mode Settings: Live Mode

Connection Mode: Gateway

Server name: SOLMAN IP

Port: 8000

User: admin user


Service name: techmon

Service URL: sap/opu/odata/aigw

I am not able to access this app outside my company’s network. It is showing:

“Network Error”

Can anyone help me with how can I use this app outside my company’s network??

If it can be done by using SAP router, please help me with
the configurations to be done??

    I believe you can do this using SAProuter or public IP(not at all a good option)

    • You would set it up in a similar fashion as your portal system, I assume you leverage SSL connections on the dispatcher so if the firewall on the public facing side and the DMZ has the needed ports opened and you create a public DNS record you could see the TechMon mobile....just remember to reconfigure your mobile device to point to the public record/IP vs directly at SolMan so it works on prem and off prem.
