Order cancellation: Restrict mov. 262 is 102 can't be posted

When we perform production order reversal with CO13 it is working fine but the 102 movement type is not working . when i have check ed back  that biz perform the production order reversal and found the qty of Finished Good  in that Storage location is less than qty in production order . Once biz perform the reversal,the movement type 262 are able to post but 102 is not possible. This is per standard SAP.

So if it is the case, could you please advise us if we can have system block the movement type 262 not to post if the qty of Finished Good  not match with qty to do the reversal? Biz would like to protect this case not to happens again.

You can use EXIT_SAPMM07M_001 and add your logic to show an error message for example, to avoid it.

Firstly, please provide a more informative title for your threads, since "HI SAP PP GURUS" does not tell us anything about the issue. The title should be a brief of the issue, so that users can have an idea about it before opening the thread. You should also avoid CAPS as it looks like you are talking loud.

Regarding this issue, it's not possible to block the 262 movement on the standard but you can try to use BAdI WORKORDER_GOODSMVT to add your own logic.
