Error Summarization data for report XXX-NNNN should only be set up sequentially

Hi All,

While we perform COPA Summarization (KEDU) or Freezing the COPA Report (KE30) we are facing the error Message no. KH896 "Error Summarization data for report XXX-NNNN should only be set up sequentially".No further details found in the message description.

Can anyone please help me on this error and how to rectify this please.

      Hi Chandu,

      Please check out whether Summarization levels were created in Sequentially or not in the transaction code KEDV.

      If not please delete existing Summarization levels and create new.

      Then it will not create problem.

      For time being if you want execute KE30 report without deleting Summarization levels please change to status of Summarization levels status to To be created.

      Then those Summarization levels will not be considered while run KE30.

    Hi Gopi,

    I think you have not summarized the data sequentially. Due to this it is throwing error message. Rebuild the summarization data.

    Hi Gopi,

    Can you check your report in the tab "Options" under "Performance" the selection is "Read Upon each Navigation Step".
