Settlement of Suborders

I know it is standard to settle suborder costs back to the superior order, but we need the cost center department split on each suborder since each suborder will be performed by a different department (or cost center).

Example:

Superior Order 1, Cost Center: Dummy

Suborder 2, Cost Center: Department A

Suborder 3, Cost Center: Department B

I want Costs on suborder 2 settle to cost center A and the costs on suborder 3 to settle to cost center B.

If we settle each suborder to cost centers, can I just set the superior order settlement profile to 'Must not be settled' to complete order close?

Or is there a better way to set this up?

Thanks!

You don't have to settle to the superior order, change the settlement rules as per your requirements.

The only problem you may face is that if you use the same Order Type for all orders, then they will use the same DEFAULT settlement rules.

In this case you may need to use user-exit IWO10027 to manipulate the default settlement rules.
